What the hell is this?!? This is street poetry. This is psychedelic bachata. This is rousing and upbeat. This is four-chords (JAZZ!!). This is future rock. Today is Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and we are releasing the Velvet Underground classic, ‘Waiting For The Man’ in tribute to Lou Reed who died a few days ago. Lou lived a full life creating challenging and path-breaking art. Dia de los Muertos is about facing death and celebrating the dead. Which should not be some frightening unspoken thing. After all, the leading cause of death is birth. - November 1, 2013
